Good food, combined as usual with a great pick-up service during the shutdown!

Always my pleasure! In the whole of Münsterland there are few restaurants that can deliver such quality, especially if you put this in relation to the low price. I cannot understand complaints about too small portions or too long waiting times. Such quality takes time. I prefer to wait longer and then get a delicious, fresh dish. If you want huge, prepared portions that are on the table within minutes, you should go to another restaurant.

Very friendly. Two vouchers that I tel. When I got there an hour later, ordered lays ready for pickup. Fourth and fifth stars possibly after our own examination of the quality of the food in the restaurant.

Only one simple vegetarian dish which was mediocre (3 stars). (Cook could not improvise and make us something special other then the pasta) One amuse. The meat menus looked very good though. Desert was great again. I expected a bit more from a bibgourmand

Very enjoyable, tasty and well-priced. Flavoursome, local dishes beautifully presented. Very friendly and neat service. Good wines. Recommended !!!

Portions too small and out of proportion to the waiting time. The greeting from the kitchen was a joke. Served in an espresso cup. Then you can leave it entirely.

Insolent and rude !!! After I had waited a decent 15 minutes in front of the restaurant to get a seat in the beer garden, I was asked to be overbearing and impolite because I would not have made a reservation. My suggestion that no one in the restaurant would answer the phone was denied. My question about a restaurant nearby was dismissed cheekily and snappily with the words: “You have to search for it yourself. I have no idea whether it is open. ”When I said that I was here spontaneously for work and did not know my way around, I was again reminded that there was no space here. In addition, about 5 tables were free and an hour later they were still free. Insolent and rude - I can't think of anything else!

We had a private party with 11 people and pre-ordered the menus at the restaurant's request. Contrary to expectations, the train was on time and since the weather was bad, we arrived at the restaurant about half an hour earlier than expected. The reception by Ms. Penz was frosty and tended to be unfriendly. You don't have time for us yet and we would have reserved for later. When asked, we were given permission to take an aperitif. The food was good and the portions okay (however, it was not billed as a menu, but as à la carte dishes), except for the crocodile ice cream, which was very clear. The waiting time between the courses was very long despite booking in advance. We had a small room just for ourselves, the ambience was modest. Despite the rather high bill, no digestif or the like was offered at the end of the house, which seemed very petty.

Ambience, service, drinks and food - everything is just right here! Mrs. Penz with her team offers a very friendly and good service and Mr. Penz with his team prepares very delicious food with his team and also looks great. Feel-good atmosphere all around and every time nice evenings.

A culinary pearl. It is a stroke of luck to be able to find a restaurant of this quality in Altenberge. We are regulars in this restaurant because we have never been disappointed here. The map is clear, but exquisite. Here quality goes before quantity. All dishes are lovingly prepared, the service reserved and attentive. The wine list is also excellent. You just go home happy when you have enjoyed excellent food in this great ambience. Not for nothing is this restaurant listed in the Michelin guide
